Extended submission deadline As we have noticed that some of you encountered issues submitting a working docker image, we internally decided to extend the submission deadline for the PhaKIR-Challenge to next Tuesday, 24th September 2024, 11:59 pm, Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+02). This extension is provided to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to submit… Read More »Extended submission deadline
Methodology report guidelines We have created a guideline for the preparation of the methodology report, see: PhaKIR_Methodology_Report.pdf. Please send your final report to phakir2024@re-mic.de by September 15th, 2024 at the latest.
We have added a Docker submission guide to our submission template repository, which you can find here: https://github.com/schnadoslin/PhaKIR_Submission_Template/tree/main/docker_submission_guide.Submissions are possible from Monday, September 09th, 2024. The submitted models will then be checked for correct functionality and feedback will be provided. Deadline for submission is September 15th, 2024.
Correction of video 7 Since the output of the submitted models should follow the same structure as the ground truth data (for more information on the expected output format for each task see https://github.com/schnadoslin/PhaKIR_Submission_Template/), no probabilities of the models are available for the calculation of the metrics, which means that for the phase recognition and… Read More »Adjustment of evaluation metrics
Correction of video 7 For the instance segmentation task, we noticed that 21 ground truth masks in video 7 were missing instruments in the masks that were present in the video frames. We have corrected the corresponding masks; you will find the updated masks on the download page of our website (https://phakir.re-mic.de/data/).
Phase recognition evaluation information For the evaluation of the phase recognition task, an online setting will be used, i. e., only frames from the past and the current frame may be used to classify the current frame. Frames from the future, i. e., with a higher frame number than the current frame that has to… Read More »Phase recognition evaluation information
Correction of video 11 Due to an issue in the video file “Video_11.mp4”, the annotations (segmentation masks, keypoints, phases) from frame number 48800 to the end of the video were shifted/misplaced and did not match the corresponding frames. We have therefore updated the archive “Video_11.zip”, which now contains the correct video file “Video_11.mp4”, so that the… Read More »Correction of video 11
Submission and evaluation instructions released For the provision of information regarding Docker-based submission and evaluation, we have provided a repository that can be accessed via the following link: https://github.com/schnadoslin/PhaKIR_Submission_Template.
Evaluation metrics released An overview of the used evaluation metrics can already be found at the individual task descriptions on our task page (https://phakir.re-mic.de/tasks/).
